The Building Services and Maintenance supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operational efficiency of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural components. Skills and Competencies required:
- Plan, schedule, and supervise routine and preventive maintenance for building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, fire safety, etc.).
- Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality work and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost control and efficient resource allocation.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of building automation systems (BAS) and energy management systems.
- Recommend and implement facility improvements, upgrades, and sustainability initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify repair needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.
